Refund + Return Policy

Thank you for shopping with Ess Couture. If you are not completely satisfied with a purchased item, you have 3 days (from confirmation of delivery) to contact us to submit a return request. To start a return - you must submit an online request form to initiate the approval process.

All products on the site are subject to availability and receipt of payment before the order is processed. If the Products you have ordered are out of stock, or if additional identification is needed for credit card verification, you will be contacted.

Returns
All returns are processed and resolved as store credits. We do not issue refunds. Credits will be equal to the price of the item at time of purchase. Returned items must be sent back to Ess Couture in their original condition and must be unused and undamaged, free of makeup, stains, od0rs and fragrances, and pet hair. Items may not be altered and must contain ALL tags and/or stickers. Original shipping fees and package insurance (if applicable) are non-refundable.

The Customer is responsible for shipping costs to return items to Ess Couture. All returns must be postmarked within 10 days of your order delivery date. Packages received that are postmarked 11-30 days after the original delivery date will be subject to a 20% restocking fee. Packages received that are postmarked 30 days after the original delivery date will be returned to the sender at the Customer’s expense. Packages received that are not eligible for return (sale items/final sale items) will be returned to the sender at the Customer’s expense.

Certain items are final sale items, therefore they cannot be returned. These items include - leggings, hosiery, bodysuits, jewelry, accessories, items on sale, final sale items, custom designed items, clearance items and shipping insurance. For items purchased at a discount and later returned, the discount applied cannot be transferred to a future purchase. Sale codes, including discount codes offered upon your first purchase, are only valid during the time of the sale.

Afterpay Orders: If your method of payment was Afterpay and you return a product, you are still responsible for finishing payments with Afterpay. If you have a question or concern about your Afterpay order, please contact us at hello@esscouture.com. Do not send returns to AfterPay.

Please allow up to 30 days for your return to be received in our office. Shipment times of your return is at the discretion of shipping/mail delivery services and is outside of Ess Couture's control. Once received, your return request will be processed within 3 days, and you will be notified with confirmation of your store credit. We do not offer refunds. Store credit/gift cards are not refundable.

Exchanges
We are unable to offer exchanges. When we receive your return, store credit will be issued to you within 3 days to purchase the size or you'd like.

Facebook and Instagram Orders
Orders placed through Facebook and Instagram are received and shipped *as is* and cannot be changed after submission: this includes contact information, items, or shipping information. You are responsible for submitting your correct order and accurate shipping information. If you notice that there is incorrect information on your Facebook/Instagram order, it is your responsibility to contact hello@esscouture.com to request a cancellation before shipping.

Orders placed through Facebook and Instagram are subject to the same Refund/Exchange Policy as posted on EssCouture.com.

We do not issue partial refunds for orders submitted through Facebook and Instagram (in the case of retroactively applied discounts, returns, etc.)

Orders placed through Facebook and Instagram are subject to the e-Commerce Terms and Conditions as posted by Meta Platforms, Inc., outside of Ess Couture Boutique.

Damaged or defective items
All purchases go through quality checks before shipment. If you receive a damaged or defective item, please submit an online request form to initiate the approval process within 3 days of delivery of your order to be eligible for a free exchange for a free replacement item or full refund.

Refunds are issued within 5 days of Ess Couture’s receipt of the damaged or defective product. Refunds will be issued through the original method of payment.
Replacements are shipped within 5 days of us receiving the damaged or defective product. If a replacement is not an option, a full refund will be issued through thru the original method of payment.

In the event of submittal of a false claim such as your returned product is not damaged nor defective, the credit or refund you receive will be liable to incur the cost of shipping a replacement item to you and the 20% Restocking Fee, at the Company's discretion.

Although we make every effort to display the colors accurately on our website. The images of the products on our site are for illustrative purposes only. Your purchased products may vary slightly from images on our website due to the display of your computer, or smart device used to access our website.
